Welcome back to my blog! I was a little busy this past month, so I apologize for the lack of posts for all 0 of my readers. But today's blog will be one of news, mainly being I'm about to launch my YouTube channel two weeks from now. I'll also probably write up a blog post when my first video comes out, but my YouTube channel will follow the same formula as I want this blog to: doing whatever I want. But in terms of games I will likely play on my YouTube channel, you can expect all or at least the majority of these:
- Forza Horizon 4: A favorite racing game of mine. Videos on that game will either be with friends or talking in a manner similar to this blog but with audio.
- Halo: The Master Chief Collection: Same concept as Forza, basically, but with guns. Maybe I'll also do a let's play of the campaigns.
- Minecraft: Just your classic 2010-2014 Minecraft Let's Play in 2024/2025. I always loved watching those, so why not try making my own?
- Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim & Fallout 4: All games I bought recently and I'll likely do full let's plays of. If I have fun doing them maybe I'll go back and do Fallout 3 & New Vegas as well. But first I'd like to do the games I haven't beaten (so just not New Vegas lol)
Of course I'll do other games, but I expect them to be less frequent than those games. Ideas for those are a video or two on Overwatch or Marvel Rivals. But anyways, I just want to briefly mention why I'm waiting two weeks to launch my channel. My reasoning is simple: that's my winter break from school, so I'll just have some free time.
Anyways, that really wasn't the most news, but in terms of other stuff to yap into the void about, music! I recently listened to the Tame Impala album The Slow Rush from 2020. Earlier in the year I got really into the album immediately preceding it, Currents. I also listened to the album preceding that, Lonerism. While I like Lonerism, Currents always stood out to me as the stronger album. The Slow Rush has, fortunately, joined Currents in my opinion of it. While I don't think any song is as good as "Let It Happen" from Currents, The Slow Rush is an awesome collection of songs. When I first listened to the album, I gave it a 9/10, mainly down to the sequencing being off and it not flowing well. Then I listened again the next day, and I adored it. Highly recommend the album if you have a chance.
But that's about it for today's blog post! Not too long, I know, but big things are coming, that I promise you!
